Cathy rescued this painted rock from a garage sale, for basically no money. It's signed and dated 2007. The image is a lovely rural scene with a horse and foal. The artist is Chris Rantala, who these days seems to be a pretty big deal in the Thunder Bay area of Ontario (Canada).
The gold text on the back is a bit hard to make out in the photo. It says "Chris Rantala", "Quiet Moment" and "Thunder Bay Ont". In the lower-left corner is the number "W2" and in pen over the top "W180".
